Drawing out the genius in your child.

Heguru is a right brain training program designed to help enhance a child’s learning abilities. The following video provides a snapshot of what it does and what you might expect to see inside a Heguru Classroom:

Heguru was founded in 1997 and has been in operation for many years now. Its goal is to boost the comprehension, memory, analysis, innovation and creative skills of children. By activating the whole brain and bolstering the connection between the left and right brains, they believe we can maximise a child’s potential.

They have 4 programs:

  • Prenatal (which begins from the fourth month onwards)
  • Infant and toddler (6 months to 3 years)
  • Pre-school (4-6 years)
  • Elementary (7-12 years)

The classes are an hour long and held once a week.  Children 3 years and under are accompanied by their parents.  Children 4 years and above attend the classes on their own.

    1. Hi Raymond,

Shichida and Heguru start from 6 months to 12 years old. You can start your child at any time and continue for as long as you wish up to 12 years old. Ideally, the earlier you start the better, but parents who have started their children late have still observed great results – or so I understand.
